Today has been a very drowsy day.

I barely contained yawning in my class and I yawned through the meeting with my students, who found it puzzling and hilarious. Sadly, my tolerance for caffeine is really high. I think actual extra sleep might be in order.

I leave you with some pictures of a newly (to me) discovered kind of apple: Arkansas Black! It turns out I don’t like sweet apples that my family does (e.g., honeycrisp), no matter how crunchy and juicy they are; they upset my stomach, so I avoid eating them. But Arkansas Black is wonderfully tart– yum! The apples both taste and look gorgeous.
