Beyond that, I do love me some long-running “Friends, but weirder and more honest”-type comics like Questionable Content and Something Positive.
Oh, and Skin Horse is incredible! A deeply, deeply silly comic about doing black ops social services for creations of mad scientists. (Of course, it’s been running for a decade, and has some plot accretion. Narbonic, by the same author, is also good, but finished.)
Chirault is a must read!
