Here’s some music that is (by my standards) upbeat:
Yey! Zella Day — I just heard an interview with her yesterday! Can you believe she’s only 20?! Apparently, she’s from Arizona and she started flying monthly for weeklong recording sessions in LA when she was 15! Dang…
What amazes me is that her live performances are as good as her recordings, even at that age. She’s not just some over-engineered and over-synthesized young pop singer chosen for appearance, personality, and dance moves.

I am on my 3rd run through of this playlist.

Not all the songs are upbeat but the concept of an endless summer is a good one.
